UFC president Dana White today announced on his Twitter account today that an injury has forced Mark Munoz to withdraw from his fight on UFC on FOX 2. He was originally scheduled to fight with Chael Sonnen (26-11-1) for a chance to fight Anderson Silva at a later date.
"Munoz is injured and out of the FOX fight."
"Now it's Chael Sonnen vs. Mike Bisping Jan. 28, and the winner will fight Anderson for the title."

There is no update yet on what injury Mark Munoz has actually suffered or how long he is out for. What we do know is that Michael Bisping (22-3), the TUF 14 coach, has been slated to replace him. UFC on Fox 2 is being televised on Fox on January 28th.
Bisping was supposed to fight Demian Maia on the same card. Now another replacement will be needed for that Demian Maia or the fight could be scrapped completely. Bisping was clearly the biggest name they had available and the UFC is putting a priority on making sure their FOX cards are successful. The card is still stacked, with Rashad Evans vs. Phil Davis as the headlining fight.
Update: Demian Maia will be taking on Chris Weidman (7-0). It will be Weidman's 4th fight in the Octagon. This is going to be a very intriguing fight.
